Located halfway between Seattle and Spokane, only an hour from Leavenworth and the North Cascade Mountains, and minutes away from the Okanogan recreational area and the Columbia River. The cities of Chelan, Manson and Stehekin are situated on the waters edge for plenty of year around enjoyment.
The lake is 1486 Feet Deep and roughly 55 miles long. At one end sits the town of Chelan with roughly 5000 residents. 7 Miles from Chelan is the small community of Manson, which is also the location of Wapato Point Resort. At the furthest end of the lake and only accessible by boat or floatplane is the mountain community of Stehekin which has around 70 year round residents.
Of course in the summer Chelan’s population swells with the addition of the many visitors that come to enjoy the lake and all the activities that the area has to offer.
Chelan is one of the most sought after communities to relocate to in Washington. The estate market remains steady and there are plenty of great opportunities to purchase Homes, Lots, and Waterfront Real Estate.
